STORY OF MY FIRST JOB (CNA) CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE

December of 2010 the time that im trying to apply for a CNA(CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE) job. I've been reading,searching online what is this CNA type of work is, i was taught before CNA and LPN is the same responsibilites when it comes the actual work. I finally found this place that close where we live its a NURSING HOME facility. one day i search this place,  its sounds and looks good place to work based on what i read on their site.Finally January of 2011 i apply to that nursing home place. I got a call 3 days after to have my interview,it went really good.until i finally received again another call that they hire me and im really happy for that.First im really nervous if what really the actual type of job that im going,since i dont have any experience at all, back when i was still in the philippines.First they let me  do the class training it took for 5 weeks,it went really good. I passed the written and clinical test. 3 days after, finally i worked on the floor a 10 days training. that means i worked with somebody with me like teach me how to gave care to this old people like how to change thier brief,grooming,brushing teeth,giving a shower,how to use the mechanical lift in transfer and etc. After in my 10 days training,the lady that train me, she said i did really good job. shes wondering if i do this kind of work in the philippines and i said NO,This is my first job.She said Really? She just could not believe how the wonderful job that i did during on my training.When i work by my self already as an aide, i do really like it.I would say its not an easy type of job. but if you are a person that put a dedication on this type of job theres nothing hard about it.WHY? Its because you help this older people on their needs that they aren't able to do it by their self  and etc.

Until now im still doing this kind of work because I loved this type of job. You  will see this people feel better because the type of care that the aide gave to them. And i got alot of appreciation from my Boss,Collegues and the family member to all the kind of work/help that i gave to them. All i say to them Thank you very much that you appreciate what i did i just try the best that i can do.
